Only one day until the competition!
Only one more day until the competition! Today, we started, or rather continued, working on our figure eight checkpoint. After some tries, we achieved the figure eight; however , the turning was not as good as we thought it would be. Due to this, we tried to change the caster by a wheel we had seen before on the Lego kit.
After exchanging the caster for the new caster-wheel, we quickly noticed the sensors didn't work, as they were too high above the ground, and they couldn't detect the white lines. Logically, we went back to our good, old caster, and tried the figure eight again, and it worked!
However, we cannot implement the algorithm at this point, as we face intellectual barriers. In other less-fancy, less-euphemism - like words, we don't know how to program the algorithm, and sadly, our programmer couldn't make it to this meeting. Thus, our last step will be left for the very last day.
